Thanks to the Sundial Table, a design by Umut Yamac, relates to time in a different way.
Instead of your phone or on your watch, the position of the sun and its shadow tells you what time it is.
But how exactly does a sundial work?
And how it is possible that you could use the Sundial Table everywhere in the world?
Man has always been measuring and recording time.
By studying the sun, moon and stars, people used to determine what time of day it was
and what time of year they lived in. This was useful for agriculture, for example,
to sow and harvest at the right time.
Later, in the time of the ancient Greeks and Romans, tools were invented to measure time with.
One such tool was the sundial.
