At Esschert Design, sustainability is always at the forefront. Long before the term "Social Return" became popular and eco-friendly logos appeared on products, Esschert Design already had a strong commitment to sustainability. The commitment can be seen in many different ways. "Sustainability is simply at our core," says Arend Mosterd, Esschert Design's managing director.

Since 2009, Esschert Design has been committed to an inclusive working environment by hiring a team of Wajong employees. These employees have disabilities or are a bit further away from the labour market. They perform various tasks, such as processing mailings, and they are an essential part of the company's production process. Esschert Design has set up its own training initiative, the "training house", where these employees undergo MBO training to lay a solid foundation for their future careers.

The Dutch oven is a traditional thick-walled cooking pot made of cast iron. Thanks to the material, heat is distributed evenly across the pan and heats food from all sides.

Put the Dutch Oven on a campfire and enjoy a delicious meal outdoors with family and friends!
