Pumpkin is related to the cucumber and melon.
From a culinary and nutritional point of view, however, pumpkin is a vegetables!

Pumpkins originated in Mexico, where they have known the benefits of the pumpkin for years.
Pumpkin seeds, or kernels, were already roasted and eaten as a snack by the Aztecs.
The Spanish brought the pumpkin to Europe from South America.
From there, the pumpkin slowly spread around the world.

The flavour? Ginger and paprika provide a slightly sweet yet spicy, sharp flavour.
The coarse texture of the onion slices, cumin and chilli give the vegetables a nice crispy bite and also make your dish look extra pretty.
