Meet Weltevree's wood-fired hot tub
Feel connected to nature through the Dutchtub Original of Wood!
The Dutchtub from Weltevree is wood-fired, no electricity involved when heating up, everything is heated naturally!
How do you use the wood-fired Dutchtub?
You can fill the tub by connecting a garden hose to the turbo connection. Depending on the water pressure and type of garden hose, it can take about an hour to fill the capacity of Dutchtub: 650 litres.
When full, the bath can stay filled for several days (provided no soap is used in the water).
To use the bath, firewood is needed. Chop your own firewood or get it from a certified seller.
Make sure the blocks of wood are small enough to fit in the coil!
At the edge of the Dutchtub you will find the spiral with a fire basket. This is the heat source for the water. The moment the firewood is lit, the heating can begin. At the bottom, the water is sucked through the spiral, where it is heated. Finally, the water flows back into the bath at the top of the Dutchtub.
It can take about two hours for the water to reach a temperature of 38 degrees. Stir the water occasionally for even distribution or use a lid to speed up the heating of the bath.
Enjoy and completely unwind in the Dutchtub
You can also use the Dutchtub for cooling
Thanks to the Dutchtub's double wall, almost no extra energy is needed to maintain the temperature. In fact, one bag of wood can keep the water at 38 degrees for about four hours.
However, should the bath get too hot or you want to lower the temperature, you simply don't need to add any more wood.
Moreover, the Dutchtub can of course also be used for cooling off. By filling the Dutchtub with the garden hose, you can enjoy a refreshing bath and thus cool down!
