Need inspiration for a recipe for your guests? Then this is the perfect dish. A combination of deliciously juicy and tender cod wrapped in crispy breakfast bacon.

Flavour the cod with olive oil with garlic, pepper and salt. Be careful not to add too much salt, as breakfast bacon is very salty by itself. Next, wrap the cod in the breakfast bacon.
By making the dish on the Western red cedar smoking board gives your dish a delicious sweet-spicy smoky flavour.
This composition is also very tasty to eat in combination with the Tomasu Soy Sauce!

What do you need for the cod wrapped in crispy breakfast bacon?

Preparation

Place the briquette grate in the BBQ outdoor cooking stove.
Fill the BBQ starter with coals, briquettes and kindling and wait about 20 minutes until it is ready to start the BBQ.
Empty the BBQ starter onto the briquette grate.
Place the smoking boards on the grill of your outdoor cooking stove and let the aroma of the  smoking board are released. Be careful that the smoke boards do not catch fire!
Marinate your cod with olive oil with garlic
Then sprinkle in pepper and salt accord and juice of one lemon
Wrap the cod in slices of breakfast bacon
Place the cod with breakfast bacon on the toasted smoking boards and then place it on the cooking stove.
Put the lid on the stove top and let it cook for about 20 minutes. Also keep a close eye on it in the meantime.
After 20 minutes serve it on a festive sign
Finish the dish with fresh thyme and enjoy!
